The Firm of JM Engineers, Inc. was organized in 1977 as the fulfillment of a need recognized by the prin­cipals for a Consulting Engineering firm to be able to pro­vide highest quality Mechanical and Electrical engineering design through the personal involvement of the principals in every part of the design process, from the conceptual phase through completion of construction. We are confident that through this personal involvement, either as a member of an interested team or on an independent basis, we are able to pro­vide the highest quality service to our clients.

JM Engineers, Inc. has personnel with the ability and desire to integrate the engineering disciplines into a fully coordinated project resulting in an efficiently func­tioning, architecturally compatible design.  Special empha­sis is placed on energy conservation and manage­ment in the design of heating, air conditioning and electrical systems. Compliance with energy codes is achieved through the use of efficient lighting systems and light sources, and energy conserving heating, ventilating and air conditioning sys­tems.  Computer Aided Design/Drafting (CADD), computerized energy studies and life cycle analyses are extensively used to determine optimum system design and to demonstrate energy code compliance. We also have LEED™ Accredited Professionals to assist clients obtain LEED™ Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The personnel of JM Engineers, Inc. have extremely broad back­grounds which include commercial and high-rise residential buildings, gov­ernment office buildings and courthouses, educational and medical facilities, correc­tional institu­tions, industrial buildings, military and aerospace facilities, utility and communications systems, and highway lighting systems.
